This peer support ministry is committed to the healing and recovery of those who have experienced separation and divorce.  Jesus journeys with us to share our burden as he shows us the way when dreams are shattered.  Structured programs of 'Divorce & Beyond', 'Annulment', and 'Steps to Wholeness' will be offered.

    Catholic Divorce Facts

  • Divorced Catholics are full members of the Catholic Church and can participate fully in the life of the Church.

  • Divorced Catholics may receive Eucharist and Reconciliation.

  • Children will not be illegitimate if a divorced Catholic is granted an annulment.

  • Before a divorced Catholic can remarry in the Church, an annulment must be granted on the previous marriage.

Parish Nurse Ministry/Health Care Committee

The parish nurse program is a new ministry that integrates health and faith.  The parish nurse reclaims the historic roots of health and healing and promotes opportunities for spiritual care.  This ministry reaches out to parishioners through education, counseling of health issues, preventive health care, home visits, hospital visits and nursing home visits.  The parish nurse is the coordinator of health needs of the parishioners and is supported by the health care committee members.

Please contact me if you or someone you know in our parish is in need of a visit from the parish nurse or  needs to speak with the parish nurse about health related issues or is in need of resources/referrals for health issues.

We meet on the second Saturday of the month after the 8:00 a.m. Mass and rosary.

Sharing Tree

This ministry provides Christmas gifts for local families, seniors and singles who might not otherwise have a Christmas.  We also support the missions in Honduras through this program.  After the recipients are determined, gift tags are made to match their needs.  Parishioners take a tag off the tree and return it with the gift.  The gifts are then distributed.

We are a group of volunteers numbering just over 100 people who have volunteered to cook a meal for a family whose loved one has been very sick, recently had a baby, or has just come home from the hospital.  We provide three meals either consecutively or in another manner suitable to the family’s needs.
