Fourth Month
Rapid growth takes place-the baby grows 8-10 inches in length and weighs a 1/2 pound or more.
Fifth Month
Half the pregnancy has now passed and this little baby is very active!
Sixth Month
The baby is up to 14 inches long, weighs about 1-1/2 pounds and can roll over inside the womb.
Seventh Month
The baby weighs at least 2 pounds.
Eighth Month The skin begins to thicken with a layer of fat stored beneath
for insulation and nourishment.
Ninth Month
By the 9th month, weighing 6 to 9 pounds, the baby can only turn from side to side because of very cramped quarters.
