Baptism of infants

Following the words of Jesus, “Let the children come to Me,” the Catholic Church encourages parents to have their infant children baptized in the first weeks after birth. At least one parent must be committed to raising the child in the practice of the Catholic Faith.

The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated on the first and third Sundays of each month.

To assist parents in their responsibilities as the first teachers of the children in the faith, a Baptism Preparation program is required.

Our Baptism Preparation Program consists of one session which is held on the second Tuesday of every month, at 7:00 PM in the Parish Center, Room D.

During the session, a Registration Form for Baptism will be provided.  This form will provide the information needed for the parish baptismal records.  The parents may also indicate their preference for a baptism date.

If the parents are not registered parishioners, a Parish Registration form will be available.
