The Cub Scouts is an organization for young boys from first grade or the age of seven, to fifth grade.  The different levels are as follows:

First Grade - Tiger Cubs
The Tiger Cubs meet twice a month.  Once for a den meeting to do an activity from their book and once a month for a go-see-it.

Second Grade - Wolf Cubs
Third Grade - Bear Cubs

Fourth Grade - Webelos 1
Fifth Grade - Webelos 2

The Wolves, Bears and Webelos usually meet twice a month to do activities from their books to earn badges.

All of the groups meet once a month for a Pack meeting where each den can show the entire pack what they have been working on that month.  Any awards that the boys have earned are also handed out so they can enjoy the recognition of the entire pack.  This is also a time to share upcoming events.

The Girl Scout Program has four fundamental goals.  These serve as the foundation for all activities.  Each girl shall:

            1.  Develop to her full individual potential.
            2.  Relate to others with increasing understanding, skill and respect.
            3.  Develop values to guide her actions and to provide the foundation for sound decision-making.
            4.  Contribute to society through the use of her abilities and leadership skills, working in cooperation with others.

Girl Scout Leaders decide how often, when and where their troop will meet.  Girls between the ages of five and seventeen are eligible to join.  Leaders can be women or men over the age of eighteen.  A girl does not need to belong to a troop to be a Girl Scout.  She can register individually and participate in special events when she has time.
